PRIVACY

What this site keeps (not much)

The Kongvene Table website, including the page where friends RSVP to a game night without the app.

Browsing this site

No accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Reading our pages doesn't send us anything about you.

Two outside services are involved, like on most websites: GitHub hosts the site and, as any web host does, may log visitors' internet (IP) addresses, and Google Fonts supplies the lettering, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.

Answering an RSVP link

When a Kongvene organizer shares an RSVP link and you answer it, we save only:

  • The first name you type (and a last initial, if you add one)
  • Your answer: I'm in, Maybe, or I'm out

We never ask for an email address, phone number, or password, and you don't need an account. Your name and answer are saved with that game night in the Kongvene app, so the group can see who's coming and its organizers get a heads-up. We never sell it or use it for ads.

To stop abuse, our server briefly uses your internet (IP) address to limit how many answers can be sent in a minute. It isn't saved with your answer.

Your browser remembers the name and last answer you gave on that link, so you don't have to retype it. That stays on your phone or computer; clearing your browser's data removes it.

How long it's kept

An RSVP link stops working when the organizer turns it off, and two days after the game. Your answer stays with that game night in the group's Kongvene app until the organizer removes it or deletes the game night.

Want your answer removed sooner? Ask the organizer, or email us at thecircleroottechllc@gmail.com with the group's name, the date, and the name you used.

The Kongvene app

If you use the Kongvene app itself, its full privacy policy is at kongvene.com/privacy.html.

The Kongvene Table and the Kongvene app are run by CircleRootTech LLC. Questions: thecircleroottechllc@gmail.com.
